Midi Compression Lower Limb Sleeve
Description
PCO-L-09
MIDI COMPRESSION LOWER LIMB SLEEVE
Midi compression lower limb sleeve PCO-L-09 is designed for stability and posture control improvement in case of neurological disorders. Improves function of trunk and lower extremities and covers the sensory deficits.
How does it work?
Made of soft material PowerElastic™, provides deep, core compression and normalizes muscles tone. Elasticity and deep pressure improves the body coordination and limits the involuntary movements. Orthosis improves gait, balance and lower limbs stabilization. Used together with compression suits, provides muscles control and core stability. The sleeve improves lower limb’s proprioception, mostly the knee joint.
PowerElastic™ is a very thin and elastic lamination that we use to produce high sophisticated devices. The lamination is made of 2 layers of spandex providing excellent compression and perfect fitting. Our spandex solution absorbs the muscle’s shocks during physical activity. Internal layer is skin-friendly and provides high air permeability and maintaining the skin dry. this layer is approved by Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Midi compression lower limb orthosis PCO-L-09 should be used as an addition to occupational and physical therapy activity. This solution will reduce involuntary movements, normalize muscle balance and improve therapeutic effects.
It is believed that this type of Postural Compression Orthoses PCO® and deep compression provides better sensory information to the brain, increases proprioception and child’s knowledge about its own body. Due to this fact, dynamic PCO® orthoses are the best solution for improving treatment in case of abnormal tone and decreasing spasticity.
