AS-KX-04 is very comfortable short brace to patellar lateral dislocation treatment. The brace is made of unique airy materials. The patellar support is provided by soft lateral pelotte, equipped with two independent circumferential straps attaching above and under the knee. Additionally, adjustable silicone pelotte sets patella properly.
While knee flexion or extension the circumferential straps cooperate with silicone pelotte and set patella properly what decreases knee pain.
Frontal part of the brace is made of perforated, non-elastic ActivPren™ which compress knee joint.
ActivPren™ is an active 3-layered fabric made of elastic jersey layer and perforated neoprene foam. This lamination is very soft and high elastic. Foam’s perforation improves the air circulation and maintains great skin’s condition. The skin can breathe freely and its required temperature is maintained because of AirSupply System. This material is not knitte, what prevents skin against the skin abrasions in the compression zones. Our braces, made of ActivePren are the most durable and provide the best stabilization in the market. WATERPROOF MATERIAL.
Back part is made of openwork elastic material called ProSix™, which is very thin what facilitates knee flexion during performance (e.g. in sport).
ProSix™ is an innovative fabric 3D, elastic in all directions and fitting to the limb precisely. External layer is 3D material providing excellent stabilization. There is duothermic spacer foam providing high air permeability and compression inside. The skin has contact with cotton that is breathable and soft. ProSix™ is friendly and neutral for the skin and has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate.
Lateral pelotte, which supports the patella, is made of non-elastic airy material called ActivSpace.
ActivSpace™ is a spacer, polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is very lightweight, consisted of 2 layers. Between them, we use polyamide braids with 4 mm width. ActivSpace™ is not elastic what improves stabilization. Inside the lamination, between 2 layers, the air flows freely, maintaining minimal water and moisture absorption. Waterproof material.
To stabilize knee joint precisely we use additionally two spiral lateral stays.
